Three things to know first
A Greek certificate, not your home country’s
This certificate covers the Greek register. A residence application or renewal usually asks for both the home-country certificate and the Greek one; the home-country document is applied for and legalised there.
Identified by your parents’ names
The Greek register identifies a person by name, birth details and parents’ names, so the order asks for both parents’ full names, spelled as on your passport or birth certificate.
The purpose decides what comes next
For use in Greece the PDF is enough. For use abroad you usually need an apostille and a certified translation; an English translation by a lawyer is quoted once the certificate is issued.

Common questions
An electronic request usually takes a few working days, on the authority’s timetable, so we publish no figure. Under a POA, add the time to sign and courier it.
It depends on who receives it: the immigration authority, a bank and a foreign body each set their own. Tell us the purpose and we time the application to it.
Yes, through the lawyer with a power of attorney. You can also obtain a tax number at the same time (AFM + POA); banking and tax filing need it anyway.
